Okay, so I've been totally not around lately, but you know, you may or may not have caught up on that. Normally my excuse would be like, off not having a life somewhere, or something like that but not so much this time around. I've actually been in Kentucky. Yup, that's right. Filming. Because I'm an actress and I GET JOBS. Like, this is the first real job I've had since Lovely Bones (which, by the way, is out super soon but not that soon at all actually and either way I am SO EXCITED and the trailer came out and just yeah), and I'm really excited. It's called Secretariat and it's a Walt Disney feature, and Diane Lane is in it and I'm in it and I'm just really excited. Geting back into filming makes me remember why I love acting.  That sounded really sappy, lol, whatever.

So either way, I'm home now, I'll probably be shooting for a while, maybe some scenes here and maybe flying back to Kentucky but we'll see. In other news, I'm also getting really pumped for the new album release. We've put it off for so long, and I am not patient at ALL, so you know I'm going insane wanting to tell you deets about it and not being able to, ahhhhh.

So let's see. Have I done anything productive worth telling you all about? Last weekend I went to see Fame with the Secretariat cast. That movie was incredible, just saying. I really want to be cast in a musical. Um, is there anything else to talk about? How about Fall? It's fall, yes! I'm actually way more of a Summer/Spring kind of gal, but what about yourselves?  What are you most excited about for the new season? I personally have to say, all the shows come back,  and that's really what does the trick for me. And what's the best fall television series that you're most excited for?

Okay. So it's been way too long since I've updated this thing. Hi, how are you? Chances are we haven't talked in maybe three months. So what have you been up to?

I then realized that the reason I don't update this thing, is because I have absolutely nothing to talk about! Okay, well, let's see. Um, Aly and I saw Katy Perry in concert, she's legit, love her. And one of our new songs leaked... and yes, it's like, way more hardcore than the stuff we used to produce when we were like, lame. But the feedback from the leakage wasn't bad, so maybe that'll mean things will look up when the album comes out. Whenever that is. Way freaking soonish. So excited. I feel like that's the only thing that's actually been going on really. I've been hanging out a lot with my friend Hunter Parrish, you all may or may not know him. We we're like, legit fake dating for a while, because you know, it's actually kind of fun. Promotion in life is key, right? Seriously, I obviously have NOTHING to say to you.

I thought about doing this writer's block question, If you ran the fortune cookie factory, what message would you make sure gets put in a cookie? But then I realized, idk wtf I'd put on it. Do you have any idea?

Okay, since you all clearly have lives, you should go back to them. I'll just sit here and pretend you guys are actually reading this.

You all already know that Aly and I changed the name of the band, and other than that, I've just been out hanging with the JoBros, but five bucks says you don't care, ahhh. Great. Question. Ever wonder what happens with all the trash in the world? I mean like, it goe to the dumpsters and stuff, but won't we eventually run out of room for it all? I bet I'm probably just using my dumb blonde card right now and there is some answer that everyone in the world knows minus myself.

So let me guess, when you think of me, you think of the superficial girl who would watch The OC, right? Oh you are so right. Minus the superficial part. I'm not really superficial, am I? :/

I went shopping with Emma today because we haven't seen eachother since she's started filming her new movie with the love of my life, Chace Crawford. That's a joke. But he is nice eye candy, lucky Emma. Well we ended up back at Emma's and found this marathon of The OC on. We both totally freaked out and had to watch because not only was it The OC, but it was a marathon of the fourth and final season, which meant no Marissa, which meant a totally excited AJ because (no offense Mischa), Marissa SUCKED. That's honestly it.

If there was any show that's been cancelled, that you could bring back, which show would it be? Would you make any changes?

So Emma is coming back to my place and we're going to watch 'Now You See It' since Disney is randomly playing it. Haven't seen it in a while, and it's always fun to watch Aly's old stuff. Really, a really good laugh. :p Of course then after that we have to watch 'Make Me A Supermodel'. I honestly just love how hot the guys are.

But no, we really did find her that way. So I got really excited, it's not everyday you resuce a puppy. The only problem is where does she stay? Aly has her own place, we still have to work on that. I honestly have nothing to say to you. It's okay, you don't have to say much back. Proms in, idk, 4 days? The only thing left to do is decide how to wear my hair. Suggestions, preferences? Is there an after party that I need to know about that idk, maybe somebody already said I'm just blonding it up right now and not thinking straight (but hey, when do I ever?)?

So not too much has been going on, but I've pledged to ban the R-word. For those of you who don't know what the 'R-Word' is, it's retard  and I swear that is the last time I ever use it. It's this really cool idea, and I know it's a bit of a stretch, even I use that word more than I should, but now I'm pledging. It's really cool, and a bunh of celebs have started to pledge. It's really easy, I promise. Just try going the day without using the word, a lot of you will find you use it way too much. It's a good cause, it doesn't cost anything, you're just making a pledge. Secondly, I've got my prom dress! I'm really stoked for prom, and you know what, yes, I'm going stag. And I'm damn proud of it. I don't want to go with a date. Anyways, it's not who you go with, it's about who takes you home. Who still has to get their dresses and tuxes? You know what's really fun? Playing cover songs. Anybody play a good cover song lately? I've covered some Kate Voegele, Incubus, and John Mayer. Which is all relatively random, but really fun. Sometimes people just have better music, and it's fun to sing. I covered Kate on piano and John on acoustic. It's moments like these where bragging about knowing know to play instruments comes in handy.

I don't get it, but it was random. And then you just keep finding random articles. On and on and on. It gets addicting, you get so into wanting to find something interesting. Somewhere in the world it is April 10.

And I am officially 18 years old!!!!!!!!


I'm beyond stoked right now. My parents just took me out front and in our driveway was a brand spankin' new Range Rover. She's shiny, and black and new and beautiful and big, and that's just like I wanted! I wanted a big car, get out. I knew this was what I was getting, but I didn't expect Bennett to be in the passenger seat! It was really exciting. I didn't know he was coming into town. He's staying with his Dad but whatever. But yeah, my parents were all 'we just got you a brand new car two years ago when you turned 16, so if you can sell what you have now, we'll get you the car.' Turns out it was an easy sell! And they're also sending me somewhere during the Summer to vacation, I haven't picked where yet! It was really cute, they were like 'Amanda, it's been a tough year, we're proud of you.' and it really was sweet. I love my parents.

So after I post this I'm going to go call up all those infomercial things that say 'you must be 18 or older to call' because I've been waiting 18 years to do that. I love life. My phone is non-stop vibrating. I love bithday texts. I love being 18. OMG. Happy birthday Alex Pettyfer, I'm honored to share my birthday with such a gorgeous actor!

Needless to say, I'm excited as anything right now.

It's Spring. And given it's been Spring for a couple of days, it's still Spring. I'm really, really excited for Spring this year. I've been doing some thinking, about Spring, and I have realized that Spring is my favorite season. I mean, think about it. It gets really nice out, not too hot like in the Summer, short shorts, short skirts, shorts and skirts in general, flip-flops, a new pair of Gucci shades, sundresses, bikinis, swimming in the pool (not just hot tub, I did that enough in the Winter), laying out at the beach, a new handbag for the new season, my 18th birthday, driving in cars with the tops down, vacationing boys on their Spring Breaks which equals fun for all you single ladies. Face it, what could be bad about this season? And sure, I make it sound pretty Summery. But no, my Summer starts now. Not really, but my Summer-ish activities do anyway.

A new season also sparks some inspiration for songs and music, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. I think everyone becomes more cheery during the Spring also. I really want to go to a bonfire on the beach sometime soon. I don't know, maybe that's a Summer thing, but you get that point.

In other news, I turn 18 in two weeks.

So now that my birthday is in one month and four days away, yes I am counting because becoming an 'adult' is very exciting for me, I was just randomly looking around to see if anything interesting happened on April 10th or whatever. I ended up looking at other celebrities birthday's for that date, and I found this very interesting. Alright, here's what I got, or the ones that meant something to me anyway.

Laura Bell Bundy- Insane talent and ahh, she's such a performance-wise role model.

OMG OMG OMG, sorry, I'm just here LOLing all over the fact that my dear Emma Roberts is going to play a gay drama director. Neither of us have anything against gays, but we were always talking about if either of us would have to play a role like that, and she's always like 'I don't think I could kiss a girl.' AHAH. I just got off the phone with her, she's totally stoked for a role, and I am too. She's not so stoked about the kissing part, which personally, is always the best part. I guess.. if it's with a hot guy. See, I've never had this problem (:.

So I got a call from my manager this morning, all spazzing and stuff, which led me to checking out all these 'Oscar Watch' things and 'The Lovely Bones' was like on allllllllll these lists for next years Oscars.  I just about died. I mean, these are probably opinions and everything, but like, how amazing would that be?! It's not like, a kiddie-happy movie either, so I really wouldn't be surprised. And it's being released just around Oscar bait time. That isn't supposed to sound superficial, but it's a legit drama and I definitely hope to be going next year. We're all keeping our fingers crossed. And I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but who knows. It's a Peter Jackson film. That's pretty insane.

So aside from being suckered into having Miles' new song on repeat, I've been chilling here, with the dogs. It's a great way to spend Valentines Day, I couldn't have asked for two better Valentines. Even if Bandit hates me, it's all good. Who here has Valentines this year? Who here doesn't care? Who here wants to go clubbing and pick up random guys and call them your 'valentine'? I so would, except because I missed Emma's birthday last week, I'm throwing her a small party, so whatever. BUT the clubbing offer stands for future days.

Tell me about your favorite Valentines Day memory, or what your perfect one would be? I picture mine being somewhere on a beach, I guess with that special person, and I don't know. The beach is so romantic, idfc. I guess I don't have too much to say, so I might take my two Valentines to the park. Mom and Dad went on a little ~romantic getaway. They tend to do that, whatever.  I have nothing more really to say, pathetic Amanda.

I need to be cast in something where I need dance training. Hip-hop dance training. Yes, there's a question for you all. If you could create your dream movie to star in, what would it be about, and who would play your co-star/love interest?

I'd really want mine to be like, idk. I kind of want to be in a horror or suspense. So yeah, mine would totally be a horror/suspense. Like, the characters have to escape some psycho killer dude, or just something really freaky. And I guess I'd be a dancer. Just so I can get my hip-hop training in. And it would have to be like, really scary. Not one of those really fake, lame, crappy 'scary' movies. It'd legit be the next scariest movie. Good, scary movie. Yeah. Ohhhh, and I'd probably have to go with Shia for the 'love-interest'. Him, or like, Jared Padalecki. Or Jensen Ackles. Although, it'd be a little weird with those two. Because they're slightly older. I wouldn't care. Even Patrick Dempsey would do. OMG JUST KIDDING, JAMES MARSDEN. I'd choose James Marsden, end of the story. It's not like there is anyone around my age to pick.

In other news, who has any good song suggestions for cover songs? I'm listening to this gorgeous song by Dierks Bentley. I'm in love with the lyrics and melody. And I think music is the only thing I'm smart at.
